Requirements for poster: A0 portrait poster (W: 841 mm × H: 1189 mm)

Requirements for oral presentation: each speaker will have in total 15 minutes (10 min for oral presentation, 5 min for Q&A’s)

Information on the processing of personal data

Your personal data provided under the registration to the Eurodendro 2019 Conference are controlled by the Mendel University in Brno, company registration number 62156489, registered office: Zemědělská 1665/1, Brno, Czech Republic. 

Processing of the personal data provided by you is necessary for the preparation and organization of the mentioned event.

The legal basis for the personal data processing is Article 6, 1 b) and f) of GDPR, since their processing is necessary for the fulfilling of the contract (in particular organization of your participation at the event) and for the legitimate interests of the controller (e.g. sending of organizational messages, photo documentation of the Conference).

In some cases, your personal information may be processed based on Article 6, 1 c) of GDPR, due to their indispensability for the data controller to comply with legal obligations.

Personal data are not disclosed to other persons, unless the obligation to disclose them is imposed on the University by special legislation or the conference participant has given their consent.

Processing the personal data in the framework of the Conference does not include automate decision-making, based on which acts or decisions would be made that interfere with the rights or legitimate interests of the participants.

Your personal data are going to be processed for a period of 2 years. After this time, your personal information will be deleted or kept for a period stipulated by a valid Documentation and Discarding Plan, issued in accordance with Act no. 499/2004 Coll. on archives and documentation service.

With respect to the processing of your personal data, you have a right to access your personal data, modify or erase them, or restrict their processing, comment on their processing, or exercise the right of data portability and other rights under the GDPR.

To exercise your rights and requests, please contact the data protection officer.

Your requests will always be duly attended to and dealt with in accordance with the relevant provisions of the General Regulation. In the event that you do not agree with the settlement of your requirements and requests, you have the right to submit a complaint to the Office for Personal Data Protection.
